Astrodome Dental Career 600 Hrs. training is an intensive course which requires students to HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED/READING SKILLS MUST TEST AT 9TH GRADE LEVEL. The course is divided into several segments: Classroom training, clinical/lab and externship training. Subject matter includes the following:
    1. Anatomy & Physiology of the head & mouth
    2. X-ray techniques and necessary skills for State Board Certification
    3. Labaroatory Skills
    4. Hands-on assisting of doctor/hygienist
    5. Office Administration/Dental & Medical Terminology
    6. Computerized skills necessary for operation of Dental and Medical software
    7. Front office management skills.
Admission Requirements
Interested Students Should:

  1. Schedule an appointment with an admissions representative, discuss motivation , goals, school policies, attendance and course requirements.
  2. Tour the facility with a representative, preferably on the same day of the initial interview.
