Familiarizes students with proper sterilization equipment and procedures. Demonstrates handwashing, barrier protection, room desinfection and instrument sterilization.
Stresses four-handed dentistry to allow the students to be highly trained in the more modern approached to dentistry. How one would assist in a surgical procedure during an extraction, instrument transfer and tray set-ups. Be efficient in placing the patient in the operatory.
