Students will learn basic skills of x-ray techniques, patient positioning, and correct placement of the film in the mouth of the patient. Emphasized readiation safety, protection and prepares for x-ray certification as required by the State Board.
Students will be able to demonstrate preparation, placement and removal of a matrix retainer. Distinguished in between amalgam and composite fillings. Explain the steps in an amalgam and composite procedure along with tray set-up for each.
